how to replace a broken stud in the front wheel?

I sheared one in half in the dead of winter in Ohio this year. I believe I would've had to take off the entire front hub assembly, including the huge bolt that attached it to the axle. Since it was freezing outside I took it to the dealership and had them do it for $45. Haha.

are you capable of changing a stud? I just changed all mine to the ARP's and I love them, I didnt even take off the hub, just grinded it down far enough so i could hammer out the old studs and put in the new one. If you need more info or some pics i can try to get you some. LMK ...

what car did u change th stud on? i tried to work my integra but the stud was too close to the hub to be hummer out and if i do get it out it would be too tight to get it in

did it on a 90 si civic, I had to dremel a bit of material off the hub and it fit through no probs.
