Good cleaner for headlights that have that crap film on them?
Hope I'm being clear. My headlights have some kind of hazy crapola on them and I was wondering if someone knew of a good cleaner to get that stuff off. I'm thinking it will not only look better, but not have to buy a new headlight.

would you like for us to guess which year car you have, and whether you have usdm or jdm headlights?
the reason i asked about usdm versus jdm is that, at least for 4th gen accords, usdm headlights are glass, jdm 2 piece headlights are glass, but jdm one piece headlights are plastic. cleaning glass and plastic headlights are different.
glass headlights can be wetsanded. this is something you could do yourself, or go have done by a professional.
plastic headlights can be restored, at least somwhat, with a product like meguiar's plastix, or interestingly enough, mother's mag and aluminum wheel polish.

there's something called plastic polish, which you could do by hand or motoized polisher/sander.
on tougher surface, use a 2000grit sandpaper, but it's only for extreme case, dont use it if you have no idea about which direct i am sanding, how to wet sand and prep.
make sure the white crap in on the outside of the plastic, because leaky headlight would also give you that cloudy white crap

Hell, I didn't know it would make a difference. It's a 1997 Honda Accord. Stock headlights. I assume they are plastic...
