Default 2 questions

I'm new to the board so forgive me for being stupid. I'm looking at getting m3 mirrors for my 96 hatch. This guy has an awesome price but he says they are for a 4 door. I noticed that alot of companys sell them as fitting 2/3/4 doors. Is there any difference between the mirror on my car and a 4 door?
Also my car is an automatic cx well anyways i have a guy who is willing to trade my his 91 SI transmission for a cold air intake. Will the transmission bolt up to the 1.6 engine easily or is it going to break my *****?
Thanks for the help in advance.

the 91 tranny is Cable...yours is hydro...I suppose you could convert over..but it would be better to just find a tranny same gen as yours.

I think the reason the mirrors from a 4-door won't fit on a coupe or hatch is because the front window is more upright. The A pillar will be at a slightly different angle so the mirrors would overlap the area they are suppose to fit in. But maybe it would work if there is not a huge difference.

it's easier to installl a cable tranny in a car that came with it. you may have to buy a conversion kit. You may need a difft ecu also, not sure though.
You should be able to find a d series tranny for cheap though for your car with all the swaps going on.
