One of the many things I love from my R is that punch you feel when you get on it in Third gear and leave everybody in the dust while on the highway....what things does turn you on about your R guys?

 

The cornering speed !!!!!

1. It's flexibility as serving as as a street car I drive everyday and it's ability to be tracked readily.

2. Limited car. Not many on the road.

3. Looks pretty good.

4. Great upgrades available in wanted. Upgrades for a terrific stock car, that's awesome!

 

???there's always some smart455 in a firebird or SVO/GTO to put you in your place What I like is out-cornering the girly boxter guys who spent over twice as much as me on a powder puff car

 

I know what I don't like:

- relative high insurance
- ridiculously high theft rate

I don't want to sound antidisestablishmentarianismy but, take on account that many of us on this board have their Rs professionally moded and they become real fast cars, some time scary to drive. So, at least in my city I know what I'm talking about....

 

the raw power.. . i almost got rid of my r a few months ago i got in and went for a drive to make my desicion and just stomped on it and realized i cant part with it.

The fact that I can beat it up on the track, then drive it for a month as a tame grocery-getter. It is almost an all-purpose car.

 

The best thing about owning an R is handling, engine sound, and the fact of having over 100 hp per liter IMO.

 

How the hell would you know

 

I would say the handeling and how solid the car is. The car really feels like and performs like a street verion of a race car. The brakes, the power delivery, the sharp feel when making fast turns, etc... are all great qualties. Yeah the looks are also really good, however I just like the all around race feel the cars gives you.

The redline is at 8400 rpms. I test drove a few new sports cars recently and accidentally hit the rev limiter a few times cause I'm so used to my 8400 rpm redline

 

agreed, our redline is sweet! it's not like my friends 4-speed 5k rpm redline vette . thing is still quick nontheless

 

I like the smile it puts on my face.

No matter how bad the day, how far behind I am at work, or how much I am annoyed by stupid people, I can slip in behind the wheel, go find a twisty ride, and listen to VTEC...

Same way I feel. I can have the worst day in my life, get behind the wheel and forget about everything that went wrong. I love to drive and its a drivers car.

Great track car (WTB a high miler to turn into my next race car). Great handling, brakes & shifter. Sound when the CAI kicks in. Aftermart parts & affordability.
