i wana get either an ITR or GSR guage cluster in my 94 RS integra, but i heard from someone that they newr ones wont work perfectly, but will like a 94-95 gsr cluster work? anyone have one for sale???

What's the point of putting a Vtec gauge cluster (GSR, TypeR) in a nonVtec car?
Did you do an engine swap?

 

A VTEC guage cluster? Hmmmmmmmm..... Oh yeah, that's right... it was an option along with the secondary VTEC fluid retainers... I knew I was wrong somehow.


Use either cluster... one thing you'll find is the ITR cluster won't match your interior lighting... you'll have to change all the blubs out. More so, the GSR can be had for MUCH less dinero.

 

I meant gauge clusters that belong in a GSR or ITR.

u can have the best of both worlds! i have a gsr cluster with a itr speedo in it... it looks cool... differant... the speedo is amber opposed to the other guages... has 7xxx miles on it... 100+ shipping if ur interested... email me afonez@aol.com

 

So lets say I put a ITR gauge cluster in my stock RS which has a 6800 redline.
Will it be the same if I rev it to say 5000 with the ITR one opposed to the RS one?

But why do people do these swaps? For looks?

 

You would still rev to 6800.

I would just get the GsR gauge cluster, when you turn it on it will still match your other dash lights. ITR will be orange.

 

i always thought the lights would be white? Is there a way to get the lights in the ITR cluster to light up white? Personally i like white better....Can you just switch out your bulbs from the stock cluster and use it?

dont put in the r cluster and forget where your redline is . . . . . . . revlimiter sucks

 

oh don't worry, i won't be getting a R cluster til i get my cams and all that good poo.

 

some cluster are not intechangable i think it goes 94-95 96-99 2000-2001 but you can unscrew the part (say for instance the tach pod) of the guage cluster that you want and use it on your stock cluster .
