Well I got some new OEM tails becuase mine were all crapped up (i messed them up-long story).
Anway so I get these OEM taisl off ebay, but they have a lot of scratch and swirl marks in them, and me being a clean-lovin honda owner, I could obviously not put these crappy lights on my car.
But for $20, you get what u pay for
. Anyway, after some posting on H-T I got a basic method for fixing them, but here is how i did it:
Supplies: Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound, Turtle Wax Polishing Compound, Meguiars Plastx, polishing pads, microfiber towels
Process:
1. Apply Rubbing compound with pad, wipe with MF towel
2. Apply Polishing Compount with pad, wipe with MF Towel
3. Apply Plastx with pad, wipe off with MF Towel
4. Repeat step 3 to desired shine (i did it twice per light).
Took about an hour to do all my lights, turned out super!
The Results:
This pics skews the qulity cause of the damn flash:

Here u can really see the shine:

Hope this helps some people
sorry i couldnt get any before pics- takemy word, they were shitty
