Tokico HP Suspension Kit
I was just curious if anyone out there is running the Tokico HP Suspension Kit on their Honda. I've been thinking about getting a set. I like the ride height the Tokico springs offer, and I like the idea of springs and struts that are matched to each other.
Any opinions?
Anyone have pics of their rides (especially 88-91 Civic HB) with this package?

I have asked this question before. The only answer I ever get is Tokicos suck but no one that said that actually has them. I was thinking of getting them from shox.com> They are a good value for the money. Where are you purchasing them from?
i've driven a car with tokico shocks and suspension technique springs. the car handles very well and will actually pick up the inside rear tire through a turn (has a rear sway bar). the springs are a bit soft for the application, but i can tell you that for the three years they've been on the car they've never given the owner any kind of problems what so ever.
i believe that the problem with tokico blues is that people are putting extreme spring rates on them and expecting them to last forever. if you keep the springs reasonable then the shocks/struts will last longer.
Blues get a thumbs up from me. they're a great shock when teamed with a reasonable spring.

I was looking at Options Auto Salon, http://www.optauto.com
They have them advertised for $329.99, but they're out of stock right now.
I'll check out shox.com, I haven't seen them anywhere else yet.

I have the set. Got them for $360 shipped from Alamo Motorsports. The ride height is perfect, handles like a dream, especially compared to stock. Not too bumpy of a ride, plus lifetime warranties on everything. Can't go wrong. If you were to buy Tokico shocks and say, Eibach springs, you'd be paying $500 for it. This set is sweet.
OvERaCiD Do you have any pics of your car with the drop? I went to Alamo's website and the are $385.95 + shipping. Was thiss a promotion you got them on for $360 shipped?

just letting you guys know. if you're willing to deal with NOPIonline.com they sell a SPAX suspension kit from england. they're supposedly really good, i'm gonna install mine this week hopefully.
the kit is 430 plus shipping. it will lower either 1.5 inches or 2.0 inches (depends on the kit you get) and comes with single adjustable shocks which are shortened. i'm hoping they're as good as i'm building them up to be... we'll see...
