EP3 Top Speed
i got my dc5 (base) up to 125 stock but then I had to slow down cause there was a car. My guess would be 130ish... its scary (i didnt have coilovers then) I was bouncin everywhere lol. I could probably do it again and hit 135ish i bet as I have a bit more mods now.
yeah, that was just one time thing tho.. was really scary too... I'm not trying that anymore, pretty much right now I just go speed limit or below... I can't afford either an accident or a ticket... Thanks 4 that advice tho.

Even on a track with lots of room like Lowes, I have never seen a stock EP3 USDM go over 120.
I'll hazard, therefore, that the <u>effective</u> top speed is 120. If you need more space than Lowes to get to your top speed, there's really no point in talking about it.

well, before i had my turbo, and i was running just cold air intake, full catback stainless exhaust, and race header, i hit 140. then the limiter kicked in. i was even going uphill at a really slight incline. that was fun!
it was 3am, empty freeway.
back then, i had: progress coilovers (slammed to about 3"), f/r strutbars, rear lower tie bar, 22mm rear sway, -1.5 alignment on all four, 205-50-15s, i/rh/e
i took it all the way to 141mph for about a mile.
