Default Car info needed...

Hello, long time reader, first time poster.

I have looked all over, and can't seem to figure out what kind of Civic I have. It's an 88 Civic hatchback Special Edition. It has a D15B2 in it. It's made in Canada, if that helps at all. Does anyone think they could help me?

Also, does anyone know a good "n00b" resource for 4th gen information?

She may look down, but she sure isn't out. Well, she needs an Alternator transplant, and I need to get rid of some rust and straiten out the body but besides that, shes pretty damn good for what I paid.

I dont like to double post, but this topic is getting stail, and was wondering if anyone can try and answer the second part of my question. Does, anyone, actually know a good resource for 4th gen information? Perhaps different models, engines that will fit, where to buy parts etc? Thanks in advanced.

The top right corner of the this webpage is the best source of info. Tons of info if you Search. Not trying to be a dick but alot of other people might if you don't search around this site a little more.

by the way you have an std. Short for standard, manufactured mainly in canada. Is it a 4 spd or 5spd? this will tell if is a true std. If it has the 5 spd, then it is a dx that came from a dealership with mods on it....like maybe power options,moon/sunroof, basically they would add cosmetice type things to a car at a dealership. They would then proceed to sell them at 1200 more just for the "special edition" if it was a good selling car that is. nice car tho.
