Default How to tell REAL type r cams?

How can you tell if type r cams are the real deal or fakes? I bought a set of brand new CTR cams off of a company on ebay and got them today. I looked for an ECU code on the cams because I read somewhere that it'll say. Is there a way to tell?

I think you guys are forgetting the fake JDM CTR/ITR cams that were being sold awhile back.

There were a few threads made that compared the real to the fake. There are a few tell tale signs of quailty that seperates the fakes from the real.

I never heard about them, but that freaking sucks if they are so close in comparison for those people who are not as mechanically inclined. I hope they don't come around again....

From what I read and compared. Mine are real, could be a set of the fakes though. Never know what the hell people sell you. The company on ebay had good feedback and **** though.
