Default 99 Accord with 2JZ Engine

Anyone every have a 98-02 accord with a 2JZ engine in it? It's a twin turbo supra engine. If so please email or post. My email is twobit2354@comcast.net and also if you have pictures along with a description or a description of how you put it in, please don't hesitate to include that also!

I never heard of it. I don't think it is possible since Accord is front wheel drive. and supra is rear wheel drive. Supra engine is bigger than accord engine compartment, so I don't think it will fit.

Hey I am just wondering...it's not a waste of money, I have a friend who has a friend who's car i've seen personally with Rear wheel drive on a accord similar to mine. Dunno bout the engine but it's rear wheel. About the 2JZ engine it would be faster than any honda engine and would produce the most horsepower i would think

I think you left your DVD player running too long and the idiotic ideas have seeped into your brain. Either that or you held in a fart for two long and it infected your head with this shitty idea.

It's just too expensive. Unless you have tons of spare money laying around, a machine shop in your back yard, and happen to be a great tig/mig welder it's just too hard to do.

with the money you will spend on buying the swap, fabbing it to fit in ur engine bay, and everything else in between, u can build a 10 second accord

it is possible but not practical... you would spend countless amounts of time and money on a project like that.

not really something I woud attempt unless you have more money than sense... novel idea though.

reasons why this is the lamest swap ever

- you would have to convert the car to rear wheel driver

- you would have to custom fab all motor mounts

- you would prob have to have a custom tranny made so that the shifter comes up in the right location

- would have to cut a shitload out of your undercarrage to make room for the tranny

- you would have to cut your front end in half and extend it out to even have enough room to fit the straight 6

the list could go on forever, your lookin at 30 thousand + in parts and labor if not more

you could buy a supra, and give it 500 whp and new rims just for the price of swapping a 2JZ into your car

there was never a 5th gen accord that drove the rear wheels...however, in japan and europe, there was a rare awd accord wagon and the new 7th gen awd turbo diesel wagons as well...getting ahold of such a motor and transmission however is next to impossible, as these cars were rare to begin with...

I remember seeing a 4th gen with a 350 rwd swap. Looked almost stock. It was posted on H-T almost a year ago.
