intake manifoild customizing b/d series
hey i have a ****** stupid question that i was going to ask in FI but thought that i would get flamed less here if i post this.
right now in order to run my d16y7 on obd1 i have a VX intake manifold on there, (iacv on back) dint know it was off a vx till it came!
anyways...
ive noticed that b16 intake manifolds are more acessible than a d16y8 one, so im wondering if i can use a b16 intake manifold on a d16 with any sorts of modifications?
im speciafially concerned with the placement of the ports on the intake manifold.
not if the holes line up for the studs..
otherwise ill cut my old y7 intake manifold in half and the b16 one in half and get a welder to weld them togeather and have an SIR intake manifold for d16's hahaha!!!
so back to my question.... what are the differences in the placement/ spacing on the ports of b16 and d16 heads/intakemanifolds! thanks!

not to sure on that....i personally would just go with a better intake manifold rather then cut and weld and all that stuff...however if u do need a b16 intake mani i got one for sale
