Default car running rich will safc solve this?

my sohc zc is running really rich tried everything like tune up and different ecu but will a safc solve teh problem, car runs fine but i know its not running at full potential

What ECU are you running? I would say IMO running an SAFC is a good idea so you can tune it a little better if you know what you are doing. You can lean back the fuel some with it if you are really running rich. What is your timing at? What is your fuel pressure at? What kind of mods do you have?

im running a pr4 ecu i use to run pm6 but still didnt help i know its rich because on my smog test its impossible to pass but i cheated haha anyways i have intake exhaust and retarded the timing all teh way and still way too rich. doesnt run at full petoential like i know it can.

Possibly your O2 is taking a ****, usually a rich condition is a good indicator of that on a stock setup. I'd switch back to the PM6 and install a new O2.
