Default A question for Honda mechanics out there.

As a mechanic, I'm sure you see a lot of jacked up cars and what not. I was curious, what do you think, or primarily see, are the most common reasons why the car is in need of repair? (just referring to actual replacement and repair of parts, not changing oil)

1) Lack of maintenance (eg. not changing oil, trans fluid, brake fluid, etc. at recommended intervals)

2) People trying to do their own repairs (or worse yet, having a "buddy" do it for them). Youd be surprised at some of the things people do to their cars.

3) People trying to install their own accessories, and causing all sorts of electrical problems with the cars.
