I finally got my 88 Civic Dx on the road today....... And i must say that there's a sh/t load of road noise, and other noises?? not sure what... Anyone else got alot of noises, squeaks etc. in there hatches? Any tips on fixing it???

 

well, the car IS 13-14 yrs old...
lol, mine squeeks too sometimes,

maybe a bushing kit could solve some of the
noises...hth

 

Maybe if Honda weren't a bunch of weight ***** and actually put some sound deadening material in the car.

My car makes roaring noises from the tires from being WAY toed in front and rear... Oops... Makes the car nice n darty, though

 

Nope, no system at all.

 

If you have lots of squeeks, there are at least 2 adjustment ***** on the hatch to help prevent squeeks, if you look, they are rubber nipple type things, well, they look like a nipple, but about 6 times the size of a nipple, well, a chicks nipple, but you wouldn't know what that looked like eh kyle!??!?hahaha, anyways, ya, they screw out, than, I found taking everything out inside, and putting it back in helped for some reason, and just get your bro to drive it around, while you hunt for the noises. Than fix em. And also, on the trunk latch thing, wrap some electrical tape around the loop thing, sometimes it rattles too.

 

i got alot of road noise and sqeaks too. but thats cause my HB is gutted.
