I'll still be there no matter what. Whether I'm driving on the course or watching in the stands. Financially though...I'm not doing very well. Police recruits aren't paid very well while they're in training.

Well it's more of a 6 month course...Police Academy. Then I'm on the street for 3 month on-the-job training.

I never sold my spot. Looks like I'll be out there with the STi on stock brake pads.

Exactly. I'm really looking forward to beating on those POS cruisers. In all honesty though...I think I have a huge advantage of drag racing, AutoX and roadcourse experience compared to the other recruits. Most of them drive trucks and they look at my STi all confused. haha.

You will surely have the upper-hand in the driving course. And as much as I would to meet you at expo, I understand that your career must come first. Out of curiosity, which academy are you in? I know of the State Patrol academy and the comm. on law enforcement in Lincoln, and the training center in Grand Island. Or are you in a municipal academy?

No I'll be there. I was trying to sell my spot due to finances, but I'm going to make it work.

I'm in the Omaha Police Academy. My jurisdiction will be the city limits of Omaha only. State Patrol is too dangerous IMO. No back up for miles and miles...

We do all our training in Omaha except for shotgun and driving. We go to Grand Island for those portions of the training.

Awesome! Good to see others that devoted for expo. I just spent almost $1400 today in parts and cost of overnight shipping so I can make it out. I have gone from have some spare cash, to broke, to in debt.

Though I must give huge props to Rob, who is going so far out of his way, with literally not a minute to spare, just so his caR is ready for expo.
