Default 550 mile ls turbo blown motor pics

Well....the compression results show now that my 550 mile ls turbo motor is fucked. We found out that the day we tried to fire up the car for the first time we didn't know how to set the timing in the aem and we extremely retarded the timing causing insane cylinder temperatures. My sfp manifold was glowing red hot at idle and we really thought nothing of it until it was too late. We shut the car off everytime it happened but the damage was already done. All my hard work and $ down the drain. Now the car has to wait at least a year 1/2 to rebuilt due to lack of money. As a few of you know the car only made 290 whp on 14psi, now we know why, it was only running on two good cylinders. Here are some pics of the tear down.
Here's cylinder 2

Block pic

Cylinder 3

Check out my head and make sure it looks ok

cylinder 2

Cylinder 1 looks good

Me being angry!!

More anger!

This has been an all too familiar site for me lately

Thanks for everyone who helped me in this project, another will soon begin

We did take it to a tuner. We tried to get the car started on a modded basemap that was sent to me and we ended up making the problem worse. We wanted to drive the drive the car to the dyno. There is aluminum deposit on the cylinder 2,3 look closely.

Well atleast you can see the good in things, like you can rebuild, but still thats a lot of $ to see go up in smoke.... I feel so bad for you!

we will get the engine back together fast. we are going to pull the pistons out Thursday. there's no major damage to the block, i can scrap the metal off with my finger nail. the sleeve is still smooth under the chips. it sucks that it happend but we are learning from this and making the car better.

cant remember was ahile ago, but it was some idiot screwed around with some of the lines when he was looking around and i guess switched it up. they rebuilt my engine at free of cost and did ls/vtec instead of full ls like i had before. so in the end i was happy.

damn dude.. this almost made me sick, lol. I hate that feeling when you put a lot of hard work, time and money into something, and before you can even enjoy it, it is taken away . Sorry to hear bro, good luck with getting everything fixed, and working again

Thanks for all the support guys. For the past 3 days me and Accordlove have been cranking away on the car trying to break everything down and get new parts on it. I'm taking the block to my machine man to take a look at it to determine if I need to go to a bigger bore or just hone it smooth. The car is only going to get faster. I got gator stage 2's on the way, crower dual springs so I can rev to 8k, and redoing alot of the paint and wiring. All in all I haven't been able to sleep because of this but It'll go back together better than ever. Also, we're going to paint the block, head, and tranny gloss black, heeh.
