Expo 5 : to go or not?
Hi guys! My boyfriend (itrsport.com) asked me to go to the Expo with him!! I think it'd be pretty interesting and I'd get to meet lots of people...but I'm not quite sure if I'd fit in with all the car lingo and such. Think it'd be cool for me to go, though? How many of you are bringing your ladies with?? Thanks!

LOL, ironically she's not particularly fond of small planes. So this "opportunity" would be more of a deterrent then an incentive!

It'll my first time at Expo and I don't know anybody(in person). I'm looking forward to meeting peeps who I only know from H-T.

I'm leaning towards actually going to Expo 5! It'd be fun to meet some people - especially since I read these boards quite often (especially the general discussion one! LOL)

You should go! I know if I still had my ITR Id tell my boss to go screw herself and dip out! I had a blash at the ATL meet last year, I can only imagine what teh EXP0 would be like. But without #363 I dont think I wouldnt feel right Do go though...take lots of pics!

My wife is coming.
If I read the rules correctly, instructors and advanced students (with approval) can give passenger rides on the track. If you haven't ridden on the track, it's a fun experience.
Chris N or Safety Lance can clarify that rule...

I dragged my GF out to Expo 3 and she loved it!
I remember we pulled up to the track, right where you can see the downhill with our windows down.. and she saw (and heard) about 4 R's chasing one another and was like "I thought this was just another barbeque! holy crap"
