I am currently building a street strip crx on a college kid budget, and i would like to have an exhaust that goes almost straight back to the passenger side. Has anyone seen this? I know i have seen a pic somewhere just cant seem to find it. If there is little to no bends i would not have to order a expensive exhaust system, i could just have my local shop make me one and i would order a nice muffler.
I would rather not have a crush bent exhaust but if there is very little bends and it does not look dumb i will do this

 

i had this done with a es oval, only problem i ran into is that my rear sway bar would hit the piping rigth before the muffler, so every hard turn i did i heard a big "clunk"

but it held up and it was 2 1/4 inch piping...

 

I have mine exiting the rear on the passenger side because my car is slammed so far almost any size oval muffler would scrape. I just have the piping go over the rear axel then there is a gay *** muffler[ just wanted a short resonator but the guy wouldn't listen to me ] attatched. Had the guy who did my piping listened to me it would of looked much cleaner but atm it kinda looks like *** because he added a wierd *** tip lol. IM me if you want a pic. - Darrell

*Edit* Ya here's the pics, remember I just wanted a nice hidden black resonator, like 12in long. Instead this is what I come back to the shop and see.. But its fine, I'm just too lazy to change it and the guy gives me really damn good deals on all kinds of welding/fab/exhausts since I bring him much of his business.
