Default Will the H22 do well on My Accord?

I was wondering if the H22 swap would work well for racing my accord i would like to know what are some specifications i should do right when i swap it. also how fast would my Accord average in a quarter mile with a stock H22.

well, all the accords that do well in racing are using h22's, so i don't see why yours would be any different...you are looking at around 15 sec. 1/4 mile times...

If ur going to turbo the then it's worth it if not dont do it. becuse the h22 is more for freeway racing and has little low end torque also you'll need the prelude gear box, and new axels most likely.

Wait a min, Prelude has lil low end torque? Is this right? What engine has high low end torque?

Maybe compared to a Honda, but it has a peak torque location and a powerband just like any other car.

This is the dumbest thing I ever heard. Nothing helps the low end except more displacement which the Prelude engine has.

i'm not really sure, but i heard it's better to boost an f22 instead of h22, lower compression or something, don't take my word for it. just what i know a lil

the perks of boosting the f22 as opposed to the h22 swap is that both can be done for a similar amount of money, however you will see more power with the turbo f22...unfortunately, reliability becomes a factor which makes the h22 swap worth it to some...

if you have the money, properly build the h22. turbo it and the f22 can kiss you bye bye because he won't see you anymore. he'd have too much smoke in his face.lol. if you don't want to go the h22 turbo route i still think the h22 is worth it. put extra money into its internals and call it a day. you could spent around 3-4 grand and get maybe up to 210-230whp if not more and not have to worry about turbo reliability.

the 22 in F22 and H22 = displacement....they both have 2.2L you dumbass.....

if you like low end torque, id like you to meet a cummins turb diseal F350....
