File a police report, tell them your idea of who it is, give them evidence of why, allow them to dust it (they will if you request it)...given the amount over $500, its a felony count if they feel its something they can go on...if you dont have insurance coverage for modifications on your car, get it, that way when this happens, you can file a claim and get your stuff back. Thats just the reasonible thing to do. If you want to be irrational and risk punishment of your own...find them, take your stuff back whatever way you need to, make the remember why theives suck. Again, i dont suggest doing that, but its an option.
thanks, i actully didnt know i could get coverage on any modifications i made to my car, or to the best of my knowledge, it was grosely over expensive, im going to check into that, but i doubt my insurence offers this... but thanks for the infomation, it actully helped!
Most larger companies offer fair aftermarket support granted you offer proof of purchase or reciept for it at the time of applying for coverage...we had $20,000 in coverage for our old hatch we had back in the day which was much more than the work that was in the car, but to have it completely put back to the way it was, more was better than too little...i know that our current company Geico offers a good aftermarket program.
