Default What wrong w/my suspention??

I have a 93 hatch and i just recently put new eibach springs on my stock struts(which are pratically brand new). I noticed my car isn't sitting even. My drivers side looks perfect and my passenger side sits one finger higher..

DSF - 2 fingers
DSR - 3 fingers

PSF - 3 fingers
PSR - 4 fingers

I don't understand why. I put them on myself so i know it was done right. I have 2 friends with the same cars and same exact problem. Is it a civic thing?? Starting to think something adjustable would have been a better choice but then 'n again, if i adjusted something like coilovers so that all four corners were sitting even, then the cars suspention would always be compressed at different rates and it would steer and driver weird so i wouldn't then have a "sitting uneven" problem and i'd have a driving weird problem.. Ahhh f@%k it, if someone has had a problem like this and has found a solution to it please post it!!! Thanks..

Yes i did a search, i even post this same topic like 2 weeks ago and nobody answered..

i think there's enough threads on H-T about the exact same thing to say... "it's a civic thing" .....to fix it, get coilovers

thanks for not tellin me to do a search!! i don't think you understand my situation...If i put coilovers on and adjust them so the car sits even, that'll mean each coilover will be compressed at different rates on all 4 corners or from side to side in my case. Then you run into the problem, "my car looks good sitting their but drives like **** in the corners". Thanks anyways! Anyone else wanna have a shot?

It is a normal civic thing to be lower on one side:

Now, with that being said, you have to set the coilover different at each corner to compensate for this. If you set them equal to each other, you will come up with different heights, as you have done already.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by my93hatch &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">that'll mean each coilover will be compressed at different rates on all 4 corners or from side to side in my case. They are compressed different amounts, but it doesn't effect the rate of the spring at all. Coilovers do not use progressive rate springs, so the rate is independent of the amount of compression.

I see now. Thanks AutoXer! Well i guess i'm in for a set of coilovers.. What does everyone think of the Omni coilovers? I've heard alot of good stuff about them but not from someone who acually own's them and isn't afraid of admitting something bad about them...lolol..Just thought i'd ask, but from what i know, those will be my choice.

I would check out the D2's also. Adjustable dampening. Just research and see which better fits you.
