Default Installing a shiftknob, I think i'm missing a screw?

My shiftknob keeps coming loose and falling off, I push it down and it fits tight for a couple throws into first + second, than it just flys off the shifter and into my hand. I've never installed a shiftknob because i've always liked the feeling of a OEM shifter. The shifter that is on now was put on by the previous owner.
If it is a screw i'm missing does anyone know where I can get this tiny screw? because it's not in the car.

I took the shiftknob off and inspected the **** and there are no screws anywhere.

LOL, I had that problem with cheap shift ***** too.

Buy one that will screw directly on to shifter, or go back to stock

There are four holes on the shifter at the bottom. I think they are for screws no idea, i'm trying to find a oem **** locally and no one is selling for a reasonable price. once they know I want one they charge more $ than they normally would
Do you know if those four holes are for screws? if they are do you know where I can find those tiny screws to fit?

Thanks in advance

Allen wrench is used on the screws you are talking of, get some from home depot or somewhere

But it still wont help longterm wise. Those things suck *****...I once smashed my knuckles on my faceplate from those stupid ***** flying off in a hard shift to 3rd

Just ditch it or duct tape it

I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. I did the same exact thing yesterday when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. It flew off during the 3rd throw and my hand went flying into the optional audio din and banged up my hand pretty good Yeah I think i'm going to ghetto rig it for now and find a oem shiftknob. I'll take your advice and save some $ on screws and a allen wrench. Thanks again

My girlfriend keeps telling me I'm missing a screw, but I don't think she's talking about my car.

Just go to a junkyard and grab one. There are tones of OEM shift ***** just laying around at junkyards. I go an extra one for $2 and grabbed a teg GS-R one too for free.
