Timing belt for mostly street driven caR?

Default Timing belt for mostly street driven caR?

stock bottom end with cams/valve trains..

do i need those aftermarket (stronger?) belts? toda/greddy whatevers...
or
stick with oem kits? like this

do i need the whole timing belt kit of just the belt alone?

did some search too but .. i probably suck with it.

Unless you are running a really aggressive setup most people are probably going to tell you to use the stock timing belt tensioned properly.

right. i was thinking after martket but now i am more into oem kit...

oh yeah and i will be running golden eagle 440 cam gears

As stated, OEM belt properly tensioned. Depending on mileage, maybe do the drive belts and water pump too.
I am running an OEM belt with GE cam gears.

PE/ toda belt can't hurt - especially if you have lumpy cams and stiffer valve springs.....

I would throw a water pump on while i was at it...depending on mileage. :shrugg:

I threw a PE belt on when I did cam gears basically just for something to do. It can't hurt. I opted to not do my water pump at that time because I only had about 60kms on the clock.
