jun3 intake with stock exhaust?
what do you guys think about this set up. using a jun3 intake cam with the stock R exhaust cam. my reason for this is because the stock R cams are very good already but still i would like to upgrade it to something better like the jun and since the intake cam is the one i usually hear people swapping out, i figure that this might work. let me know what you guys think about it. also i will be using cam gears and a v-afc to tune it out.
Mike K saw nice gains from Jun 2 Intake\ITR Exhaust. Honestly, I would think that the Jun 3 would be alittle large for the ITR Exhaust Cam. Kinda like getting an Intake on your car but leaving the Exhaust Stock.

A friend of mine was a Jun dealer as an owner of his own performance shop. He had an ITR motor in his hatchback. On the street he used the Jun3 intake cam, with the Jun2 exhaust cam. When he would go to one of our local circuit road course tracks with long straightaways he would swap in the Jun3 exhaust cam. He had access to lots of cams and didn't mind doing the work on his own car each time he would visit the track and stuff. But he told me he liked the Jun2 exhaust cam better for street use, I think the ITR exhaust cam may be a bit small.
JUN 2 and 3 Intake cams are almost identical, actually JUN 2 intake is a little more aggressive than the JUN 3. Go to allmotorhonda.com and you can see the cam specs.

You can always put the jun 3 exhaust cam in if it doesn't turn out as well as you had hoped for.
