Is This Good?-I Hope So.
Hi im having some parts installed and would like to run them by you knowledgeable Accord Guys to see what you think. A Camshaft(Accord Performance If That Matters), Cam Gear, 8lb Flywheel, Exedy Clutch, Chip ECU(Have no clue what kind. If you know of effective one Please let me know), Street Tune SAFCii controler, New Oil Pan(With Spoon Heatshield), Aluminum Radiator, Intake, Header, Full Exhaust, Fuel Pressure Regulator, and Apexi Ground Wires. Also all fluids were replaced with Honda Oil, Honda Brake Fluid, and Honda Anti-Freeze. How will it run? Is it still gonna be slow?

if you're chipping your ECU, there is no need for an SAFCII, and vice versa, if you dont know how to edit maps on the ecu, stick to the SAFC, if you do, chipping is the way to go.

the car needed what? i'm not really understanding your parts selection here...what is the ultimate goal in mind?
what is the reasoning behind the oil pan with "spoon" heatshield...never really heard of that, but it sounds overpriced...

I wanted more out of my car and I needed some extra parts. The heat shield is because the oil pan is right by the header, which heats the oil more. Also I live in Arizona so extra HOT. It was really inexpensive. Besides can you put a price limit on your Accord? I can't only the best for my car.

Excellent mindset but that chip and the SAFC are a bit mutually exclusive.

Y not a H22 swap if you don't need boost??? Wasting your money on those lil parts won't give you good power.

The chip has a preset fuel/air and timing map which altered from stock to make your car run a slightly leaner curve, or to use a bit for advanced timing. This is why they always want you to run a higher octane when paired with the chip.
The SAFC takes reference voltages from a variety of sensors (TPS, Ignition, Injectors, etc) and then modifies the MAP sensors input to the computer according to the users settings to modify the fuel mixture.
The SAFC is dynamic, based on whatever settings you want it to run, while the chip is a static preset which does the same thing. The only difference between the two is a timing adjustment, which you can do manually.

haha, thats my website, I was just asking, no need to get all crazy. i think you got the wrong site though, there arent any 17s or rice that I've seen, unless its me lately. you think I'm a bitch because I asked you to post in other places except in the for sale section right? alright.
anyways, good luck on your attempt to go faster.

Ah haha sorry if I hurt your feeling but I wasn't getting "all crazy." Even you can admit the site is weak and dull. There is only new stuff in the off topic section and it's nothing interesting(yahnnn). Also I didn't mean to disrespect you, but every time I posted something you were all on my ***. Good luck with the site and if you want to ban me from it thats cool. Take it easy.

Spoken by yet another person who never had boost

I'm curious, after reading the stuff you listed as the parts your having "installed" there was never any mention of suspension work...and give your statement that you autocross, i find it extremely hard to believe that if you did in fact autocross, that you would have dropped the money you did on the parts without making any kind of investment in your suspension system. One would have to question your thought process on modifying your car in the manner you did without attention to the portion that matters most in 99% of motorsports...the handling.
Care to elaborate?
...as far as your question whether your car will be "fast". Fast is subjective to what kind of racing you actually do...your car will certainly not be fast in a straight line, this comes more from the fact that its an accord with the lower line engine platform. As far as other types of racing, i again must resort to my question on your lack of suspension listings...the accord is not a "great" handling automobile, especially stock...so to be honest with you, generally speaking, no, your car will not be fast...will it be "faster"? Certainly...in some aspect it will, but it will not really be "fast".
