Is there space for improvement on the S2000 ECU that the Hondata could help with? Just curious.

Just goin over mods in my head of what i may do to me imaginary S2000 once i sell my Prelude.

Hondata can work on our car it will cost you a little but if your willing you can do it. You half to use an existing model and convert 3 sensors of your motor over to one from other honda cars......

He is right. Hondata WILL make a ECU for are car but it will be around $3k. John @ inlinepro has talked to "Mr Hondata" and thats what he said. Now you chose, hondatat for $3k or EMS for $1500

Well...i could give 2 **** what YOU know, if its something you obviously think is worth mentioning, why not offer some proof via info on a site or an email address where we can investigate and gather the info on it ourselves? Obviously you have some contact that has the information...why not share it?

Who are you talking too? Me or Shift@9k? Both ways you should have some respect. just because we have more info then you does not mean we want or can share it!

It was to Shift@9k...as far as respect is concerned, its not a matter of respect im discussing here, he basically said "Neener neener, i dont have to show you anything" to nishant, who simply wanted to read about it...to me thats kind of lack luster as an enthusiast talking to another enthusiast, you would think others would want to share the information instead of just harping on and on about something, then basically **** blocking someone that is normally a good guy that just wants some information. Respect goes where its due...the comment was not directed at you blkturbos2k.

And if the situation was where he COULDNT share the info...a simple "I cannot give out my source, but trust me..." instead of the comment he made.

it's probably been a while, but this is the common attitude among street racers and 1/4 mile racers. they hope to hide their findings or keep their secrets behind their machismo attitudes. when that person graduates to dodging cones at 35miles an hour in a parking lot, the attitude should change dramatically.

There will be no reflashes or hondata systems for the S2000 unless they change their ecu in the future. The problem is that the ecu is not reprogrammable. It has nothing to do with hondata not being able to crack it...its that even if you crack it you can't do anything about it.

Hondata would love to offer something for the S2000, but it's just not feasible.

I'm the one that has answered your emails to Hondata.

this attitude carries into auto-x and road course events. It has nothing to do with stop light racers and drag racers. It's a shame people act this way and it's useless to post anything for bragging rights.

Who cares if I've stroked my F20C to 3L and rev it to 12,000rpm and only do a 14.5 in the quarter mile.
