Default 2004 S2K Supercharger?

K, I have a customer I need some help with. Honda of Pocatello, which I used to work for, sold an 05 S2000 to a guy. The guy wants to supercharge it be4 it leaves the showroom. I am leaning towards the Comptech Supercharger, but my dealer says it is only for the 00-03. Vortech makes one for the 04+. Should I jsut go with the Vortech or not? Also, what exhaust would be ideal with the Supercharger? I have heard Spugen is good, but there is also the chance of possibly an HKS or Apex-i N1.

Thanks

comptech will work....as for the exhaust it doesnt' matter.... but you should

1... get an ems for tuning...
2... upgrade the clutch... and while you're at it upgrade the flywheel

BINGO

if the budget isnt allowing an EMS a vafc2 will do just fine. we have gotten a great tune with ia VAFC2!!

K, thanks guys. What kind of clutch would be good for the situation? Exhaust? K, so AEM would be good huh? The bad thing is I don't know if budget allows for it. Hondata usable since Cortney is just a short cruise down to SLC?

Comptech has the 04-05 s/c system available now, it has a few minor changes from the previuos one.

You dont need an AEM if your running the setup proveided by Comptech.

Might as well go with the Comptech exhaust and lightended flywheel. Also a ACT street clutch.

Hondata doesnt have an ECU for us yet.

the 04 kit comes with a 7lb pulley instead of 6 like the old 2.0 motor. there other little changes on the fuel fittings and small junk like that.

K. So, if I sell the customer a header and exhaust, how much HP is he looking at pushing with a decent tune?

I have a good question...why is it that 2 dealerships, one including the one I purchased the car from, said they would not install the comptech SC, and it would void all my warranties. Yet, other guys get them installed no problem.

If the Comptech S/C is installed by a Comptech authurized dealer it wont void the warrenty.

Go with all Comptech parts to be safe so the warrenty wont void. Header and exhaust should only add another few hp, nothing spectacular.
