Hi. I have a 94 accord with a pro kit and stock struts with about 30k on them. My left rear gives a weird spring/ low screechy noise when I sit in my car or when I push down on the back, also when I start jacking up the car. Also, the camber is different than the others. Is this a spring issue? struts? a arms? Please help.. it sounds nasty and serious. Thanks

how far off is the camber? is the spring seated correctly in the shock? does the noise happen when the spring is being compressed, or on the rebound?

sounds like you touched on the two reasons i think that could cause this problem. from his description is sounds like the noise occurs in both directions (sitting on it, and jacking it up). first thing i can think of is that maybe the spring isnt seated correctly, and its rubbing against some part of the sleeve. secondly, if its making noises in both directions, it sounds like a high possibility that the shock in this corner is finally dying. i wouldnt be surprised.. stockers wont hold up forever with aftermarket springs. if its already been 30k, seems like this type of problem has been long overdue

 

could be a loose or overly tightened bolt somewhere. bad bushing. non greased bushing
