Default NSX caliper on EK hatch

I started this project back in 08/04 but I was lazy and stuff so didn't finish it till now LOL.
Went to Gary's garage and with the help from Gary I got it all done up.
But here are the final results.

with a 6mm spacer the caliper will fit under a stock Si wheel.

here is playing with shutter speed

siiiick!!!

i hope to be doing the same thing with my EG in a couple weeks if all goes well... where'd you pick up the NSX calipers and how much did they set you back? also if you wouldn't mind, what did you have to do to get them to fit with the OE (i assume) rotors?

I like the paint scheme you chose

I noticed it was WAY easier to modulate the brakes when I swapped over to the NSX calipers; plus you have the added benefit of running thicker (28mm) rotors.

PS - not trying to threadjack in any way.

For future reference, the NSX (NA1) calipers clear 15x7 TE37s w/o any spacers

wow, those are some mangled looking holes you have there on that rotor. I wouldn't put that near my car.

No way for me either.

I can't believe you're not running at LEAST a hubcentric spacer for the rotors. Thats just trouble waiting to happen. The best rotor to use is a 95 Prelude VTEC, 11.1" 4x114.3 and hubcentric to the GSR/Si/EX hub....so you won't have issues, just re drill to 4x100 and slap them on.

NSX calipers bolt right up to GSR etc knuckles....you just either need to shave the mounting point or space the rotor away from the hub 3mm

I'm not sure if you're referring to his or mine; mine are drilled perfectly:

I think he is talking about the volkdlr. Those are some crazy drilled holes. I would never ride on those. Looks like a serious loose bit when drilling. That sucker is so ovaled. Bad job .

Drilled in the same manner as Spoon's 4-lug kit:

My point exactly. No worries. Just do it right the next time .

HAHA. How are you going to do that on something like brakes? I would not be okay with halfassing that of all things.

That's why there isn't a write up . Just re-drill the rotors to fit the civic 4 lug setup.

NSX rotors have the wrong offset on an EM1 hub - I already test fitted them. Legend rotors are the easiest to modify, just redrill them to 4x100 and shave 2-3mm off the inside of the caliper bracket

no, use Prelude VTEC 4x114.3 rotors. drill between the previous pattern and they are hubcentric. These are the safest rotors to use with the swap, and cheapest. If you use anything else, then you're stupid

you're telling me that matters??? 11+ inch brakes on a EG or EK is plenty of stopping power and you're not going to over work your brakes

I know I would not have a need for the legend rotors, but some people could benefit from the thicker rotors ability to resist overheating.

I know that you know this though and are just giving me a hard time.
