Need help fixing idle problem on DPFI CRX
I have a 89 CRX DX with 140k miles, and it stutters from 700-1500 rpm. Basically, if I'm slowing down or stopped the rpms will bounce, it does this especially if I'm stopped. The cars bogs and stutters like it's gonna die. Here is a list of the things I've replaced/checked so far:
Replaced:
Ignitor
O2 sensor
Spark plugs
Rotor button
Checked:
TPS voltage
EACV voltage
Vacuum leaks
Plug wires
Also, there are no ECU codes. I had a code 20 at one time, but I pulled the hazard fuse and it went away.
Do you think it could be the intake manifold? I know the dual point sucks, but I'm not looking for alot of performance, just a reliable DD. I don't want to replace it if I don't have to, but I was wondering if something internally is worn out.
Please help, I love my CRX but it's embarrassing to have it buck and stutter at stops. Thanks guys
