heres the deal...i currently have a 5zigen fireball exhaust...not even sure if its 2.5 or 2.25...someone can help me out if you know...okay i picked up a downpipe that is 2.5 and flares to 3 in with a flexpipe for dirt cheap...i want to know if i can put this on with the exhaust that i have currently or do i have to get a 3in exhaust...how much do i suffer if i can put it on?...im thinking about a test pipe too once the turbo setup goes in...is there some sort of test pipe that flares? what are my options guys...this is my first time

you can flare your exhaut that you have now and your downpipe will weld right up.

you will notice a gain in power if you go with a 3in exhaust. iknow i did.

i recommend the kteller 3in piping kit w/ a magnaflow muffler. its pretty quiet for everyday driving and has a nice tone. and it looks relatively stock (for the policias)

 

is there a difference between the kteller setup compared to buying just a magnaflow muffler and having the muffler shop do a 3 inch exhaust for you with their own pipes? i mean i see alot of people buyging the kteller setup(which is nice) and its still needed to be welded together by the muffler shop anyways...wouldnt you save much more money if you just buy the muffler and have the shop make the whole exhaust...im asking this because my buddy got his 2.5 exhaust done at the shop for only 120 bucks...he just took a muffler he had and they made all the pipes and hangers and flanges...im just wondering because they look exactly the same...just some pipes connected

 

Lots of exhaust shops don't have 3" mandrel bent stainless.

 

okay i have decided that i am going with a new 3 inch exhaust...which magnaflow muffler does everyone use....the 4x9 oval 14in length 20 overall 3in in/out or the 5x8 oval 18in length 24 overall 3in in/out?...will i have any trouble fitting eithier on a dc2 since it is just centered with no offset? or does anyone have the kteller magnaflow turbo oval muffler that comes with the 4" tip cut slant? i think this one looks a lil nicer
