Default Back from "the dead" haven't been around in quite some time

Hello HT faithfull,

I haven't been around in over a year I'm sad to say, nor have I "kept up" on the scene. I still have my car and am hoping to get it out before the end of the year, but unfortunately it has sat since I was last "around".

I have had a tough year or so, my mother became very ill, and I struggled with money so I wasn't able to do anything with racing. I should have "stayed in tune" with the racing world, but I was frustrated with my situation and ended up turning away.

I am hoping to get my chassis work done within 6 weeks or so, then put the car together and get out to test. I am still "struggling" a bit with money but am going to do what I can. I am hoping to achieve my goal of 10.9x by the end of this year and then see what I can do from there.

Through it all I am very thankfull I didn't sell the car and give up (even tho I did think about it). I have a LOT OF WORK ahead, as well as a lot money needs but I am sure I can see it through.

So... what did I miss??

I went to the E-town event on Sunday and I was LOST!!!
Jason Hunt is driving a PRO FWD!!
Gardella is driving a Chevy, but was at HIN and not E-town!
Where was Leslie D.?
Street Glow has 1 car, and no George I.!!
?????????

Someone please fill me in...

I heard that the news reporter that got hit by the truck is back to work. How is she doing?

Yes Becky is back and very happy. It was a tough ordeal, but she has made a FULL recovery and is back on the job.

You can get yourself up to speed on what's going on in the scene here: http://www.overrevmag.com/ (I am just a reader of the mag not, a sales rep). It's very informative . I just got this months issue in the mail but, I don't think they have it online yet. Welcome back! Let see some 10.9x's

Phil
