The Tein SS is a full coilover setup. Do you mean the Tein S-Tech springs? Either way, custom rate Ground Control's aren't expensive and are a long time favorite when combined with the Koni Yellows.

true... tiens are more expensive for the casual tuner... gc's and koni's are what a lot of the moderate to intermediate tuners have on this board... i myself like the koni/gc setup. no complaints for 4 years outta me, but i an gonna go with the tien flexs soon.
