I searched but couldn't find the info I wanted. I have heard that the supercharger on the LS engine doesn't produce great power. I am not shooting for high numbers just somewhere in the 190-210hp range. What do you guys think? Shoudl I just go LS/VTEC supercharged? I would rather not but if that's what it takes I could go for it. Also do not suggest a turbo, that is not a option right now. Thanks,

Supercharged ls wont make 200whp with an average kit, you ever think about going turbo? a decent set-up running 7 psi will put out 200whp no problem and will be safe also

 

superchargers are too much money, you can put down close to 300hp on an ls with a big turbo at low boost.

this is for the first two people who responded, since their ADD prohibits them from reading the entire post.

why don't you want to go turbo? it can't be the price since a supercharged ls/vtec would cost more than a turbo....

 

No I can just get a killer deal on the Supercharger new and that is what I would prefer to do. Any other opinions?

 

Well superchaging an LS is not a good idea if you want any power out of it, what kind of deal are you getting and on what kind of supercharger
