i just purchase some blacks mr5. the polish lip has some oxidation to it. whats the best way to remove and clean these puppys. dont want to ruin the black coating.

well what i did around the black is spray some of that armor all protectant shine stuff and the black is shinny and black. but the polish lip is hard to get that grime out. i dont want to use clr cause it might ruin the black inside. i did try eagle one but taht **** is crap.didnt do a thing.

 

i'll probably take them to get re-finished @ a shop instead of dealing with the hassle

 

tape off the parts that are powdercoated black and then go to town on the aluminum with some aluminum polish like mothers, chrome polish will also work on aluminum, but it works for getting rough marks out.... so then just use the aluminum polish to finish it off with nice shine.
