Default TZ runs again!

Finally got the thing back together the other night...made the mistake of rushing throught the rebuild as I I was off down the pub to watch a game of footy. New pistons etc, etc all ready, fill it up with water and a fking puddle appears underneath. Today stripped it back down. Measured the squish and it was pretty wild at around 0.8mm (shoudo be around 0.65) it was never reset after the tuning which was in the cold weather, hence the larger volume. Found the culprit a small gap in the base gasket luckily have a pile of gaskets to use up. Tempted to set it to the absolute minimum but it aint worth it so ended up at 0.7. Ran it up and its just a great thing. The smell of 747, dry clutch rattling away, seems more resposive but havent used it for a while so maybe not.

The bodywork is all ready for a numberboard and fitting, so, after I am back from work BS I might get out for my forst race of the year...pix soon
