Door Lock help needed!!!!
My passengar door look is broken someone tried braking into my car and jammed a screwdriver into the key hole.
So does anyone know if I can just take the lock part (the part you stick your key into) out of a 90-93 integra and swap it with my 98????
Its only the part you stick your key into not the whole handle.

Better off replacing it with one from a 94-up Integra. The lock itself does not match up with the area provided on the handle.
Cross reference the part numbers for the lock.

thats a super cheap part, you could probably find one on ebay. your better off using a part that is made for that car and you know that will work. the part that you are describing is replaceable. there is only a small clip on the back holding it in.
let me restate what i just posted. you have to get the whole door handle out before you can replace the key cylinder. i think that is what its called. whatever. there are two nuts holding it on as well you have the two rods that go to the handle and lock. those just pop off. then there is a little clip holding that cylinder on. its not a super simple thing to do, it takes a little patients, but any shade tree mechanic can do it
