Hey, I'm new to this site and I have a Question which no one has been able to answer. I want to buy a Seibon SIR carbon fiber hood for my 91 civic HB. I need to know if this hood will be able to be installed without ANY mods. If there are mods plz. let me know.

If its for the USDM front end no. If its the one for the JDM front end then you need the SIR front end.

 

There has to be a way to put the sir hood on an USDM civ. I'm getting a paint job and some body work done so I figured my body guy could do some little mods to make it fit...i dunno. I haven't delt with this shiat before. i don't want to buy the hood and then get screwed, but i want this hood sooooo bad!!!!

 

Fiber images makes a SIR style cf hood for the USDM front end.

 

Does anyone have pictures of the fiber images hood?

the sir hood will fit your car but it wont line up right ebcause you dont have jdm headlights and bumper. u will also need to mess with the hood latch to get it to latch (washers) dont get it unless u plan on gettin the sir front.

wrong. the car pictured above is as stock as stock can be, and the fiberimages sir hood bolts on exactly like the oem honda hood.

no you bought an SIR hood for USDM front end. you can get the SIR style bump but for the USDM lights. i have the VIS version of this on my hatchie

 

VIS racing SIR hood for ED's (US) fits pretty well, raised about 1/2 on passenger needs hood pins
