Tranny wont drop???

Default Tranny wont drop???

Im doing a clutch on my 00 si. Everythings unbolted but the tranny wont budge???? HELP

u undo the flywheel cover bolts?
take off the intermediate shaft?
take off starter?
undid all tranny bolts for sure??

then pry that sucker open

i kicked it hammered it (with a hammer and a peice of wood mind you) I pryed it, I pulled it I tryed ******* everything. I cant find pic's to see if I have all the tranny bolts out so i cant tell. The ******* thing will not come off of the engine I cant figure it out

Did you take out the starter? Did you take off all the mounts that are connected to the tranny?

If you did, it should just slide back and then fall out.

i had trouble with this also. i thought i didn't remove all the bolts but i did and i took a piece of wood and hammer and had at it. the dowel pins are whats probably still holding it on

I think somthings still holding it on because I ******* wailed on it really hard and it didnt budge. Is there anyway I can get pictures so i can make sure I took out all the right tranny bolts.

how many bolts have you taken off? you've removed the axle?

place a jack uner the oilkpan(peice of wood) and one under the tranny... and yeaah son!

Just dropped mine yesterday. I forgot one bolt high on the backside and it held the tranny on there good. Once I removed it, just came out so nice and easy. It just slide out. I can almost garentee that you forgot a bolt. Just check on the backside.

It would be hard to get pics of the bolts.
Just go all the way around it and make sure.
I dont see how its so hard to double triple and quadruple chekc for anything that could be holding it together. Probably less effort than making this thread.
Just keep checking and then get a really big screwdriver or prybar and slowly pry it off.

YES HAHAHAHA it was the starter bolts got those out and the bitch just slid rite out. Thanks who ever said it was the starter bolts
