Hello,
Does anyone know if there are any problems with having 24.5 x 9.5 x 13 slicks on a CRX? Particularly in terms of the suspension compenents and if they will come into contact with the slicks.
Thanks!

I actually mounted my 24.5/9.5/13 slicks onto a CRX as a joke one time. My friend has a beater CRX thats in horrible shape and was replacing the shocks on the front and hadnt put the wheels back on, so when he went inside I mounted the slicks on there. Looked halarious to see this junky condition CRX w/ rust everywhere with big fast nasty slicks.
They did fit it seemed in relation to the suspension stuff. I didnt drive the car around though to check. This was on 13X8 diamond racing wheels w/ a 5.75 backspace.
Before you take my word though as gospel, it would be good to wait for another reply from someone actually running this setup on the track

We are using that size right now.....NO problems whatsoever......
We are using the M & H 24.5 x 9.5 x 13 mounted on some Bogarts with M & H tubes.
the best time we ran was a 10.30 at 136 mph with a 1.60 60 ft at CMI April 2nd 2005.
The 9.5 inch makes a difference. We were previously using the M/T 24.5 x 7 x 13 which gave no traction at all.....
Let me know if that helps...

Thanks for the input, that helps out a great deal. We currently have an all-motor car with 22x9x13's and wanted to make sure we'll still be clear with the bigger slicks. Thanks again for your help!
