Default Got my Type R springs and retainers yesterday!!

Got them for $155 shipped, used, but in great condition!

Just picked up another 600 rpms for the engine when I get it!!!

I am taking steps to make sure I don't get a bum/flat motor out of the box ...... I bought some '00 Si cams since the 1st gen. B16 cams blow, got some used AEM cam gears for dirt cheap in really good condition, and now have the dual valve springs for both sides (someone told me the 1st Gen.s don't have duals to begin with, and the R springs/retainers are good to 8,600 at least). I'm also going to get my PR3 chipped soon, to get rid of the second O2 sensor, knock sensor, raise the stock x-over to 5,300, rev limit to 9,200 (hey, going to get better cams SOMEDAY), and more aggressive fuel/timing curves .....

I know the Si cams are only good to 8,200 or so, but having those couple of extra rpms available will be very helpful!!

I'm psyched! I have enough money coming in from my EBay stuff to get the engine AND tranny, so all I'll have left to get is axles!! And since I already bought a newer Si intermediate shaft, I can run current GS-R, Type R, or Si axles .... hehehehe.

Its getting closer!!!!!
