Intake Manifold Tappin
How do I tap an intake manifold for vacuums? Do i just drill and screw in fittings like i am thinking? or is this the incorrect way of doing this...let me know please

umm brass barbed fittings.. use very little antisize if you want to be safe... get them at home depot or places like fasenal autozone probaby even sells them in those little help sections and such

-see under Taper Pipe Sizes (NPT) for the correct drill bit size to use for the NPT size you want to use.
You'll probably need mostly 1/8" NPT to 1/4" barb and 1/8" NPT to 1/8" barb adapter.
If you need a vacuum barb for the brake booster, it'll probably be something like a 1/4" NPT to 3/8" barb adapter.
You can find all of those NPT to barb adapters at your local or large chain hardware stores.

If at all possible take the manifold off to prevent chips from going in the motor. You may also want to buy different sized fittings for different size vacuum hose's.
