VAFC on a 4CYL Accord ?
The A'PEXi website states that a VAFC will not work on a 4cylinder accord, such as mine (F22B1 - VTEC)
Wondering if this goes for both the VAFC and the VAFC II - and if it is indeed accurate.
given that, would an SAFC work in the same way on a VTEC engine?
This is quite some unfortunate news and I was hoping for some information

I think VAFC won't work but VAFC 2 will. I saw the application chart for VAFC 2 on the back of the instruction manual, and F engine was there. SAFC is universal for any engine. It is pretty much the same like VAFC but it can't adjust the Vtec engagement point. Correct me

using a safc on a vtec equipped motor is kinda wasting money, considering they cost about the same.
Alot of people aware that apexi' officially said it wouldn't work for 4cyl variable sohc vtec crossover motor(read:accord four banger)
but it's been done, yes it could be done. The lag(which i think the reason why apex'i would't recommend it) could be eliminated by fine tunning.
bottemline: both V 1 and V2 WILL work, just need to dyno tune it like you supoose to
