96 del sol with y7 obd2a- obd1 problems... Help please sputtering...
Converted it all over got it running right, then about two weeks in the car starts to act up like a sputtering crap after she warms up to operating temps...
Pretty much in a nut shell I replaced cap, rotor, wires, plugs with a step colder sence I was suppose to be going to a turbo as soon as I converted the beast...
Once I replaced the cap and rotor the car didnt sputter as bad... like you cant tell that it sputters intill you reach a hill then you have to give it a whole lot more throttle.
Then another thing once you turn the car off once it starts to sputter and lose power, then turn it back on it runs like a beast....
Does anyone out there no whats going on?

So you're running a step colder plugs when there is no need?? Did you know that running too cool a plug can actually foul them out pretty easily since the plug can't retain enough heat to keep itself clean?
Throw some stock heat range plugs in there and see what that does.
