Default just finished my mpfi swap and I need help *searched*

Ok, finally finished my a6 swap today on my std. and went to start it and it justs cranks away, BUT the thing here is that the starter is really noisy and it moves the engine rather slowly. So Im pretty sure I got spark and fuel, so I was just thinkin that maybe if the starter is goin and its weak or whatever it might be the cause for the car not starting. Also I get a cel and no codes pop up on the ecu so....

I was wondering if I could use the starter from the d15b1 engine that was attached to the super short gear ratio 4 speed that it had, on the new tranny(si)?

thanks for the help will post pics of ride finished as present...lol

another thing I just saw, there is a cable/plug coming from behind the intake manifold which is kind of rectagular looking and there is nowhere to plug it in.
For reference.
d16a6, si tranny, mpfi!

thanks for the help

After my mpfi swap, i actually burned mine up. So much cranking and letting go then cranking again. Yes, hundreds of repetitive cranks will kill your starter

Put new one on, 2(3?) bolts, easy install, and it cranked way faster and sounded a lot different. (from hondas at least)

And unlike most people think, I believe that first and second gear on the 4 speed tranny are average ( 35mph in 1st - 60 in 2nd) but 3rd and 4th are loooong, never ending And the tranny itself is a pos, hard to shift at high rpms, slow... overall bad. I wouldn't mind the 4 gears if it was a nice soft tranny.

When you swapped the motor was it as a whole or did you piece it together through sourcing out the parts? Also did you replace things at the same time such as plugs, wires, cap and rotor, etc...? If you swapped out the wires check the firing order.
