Default burning oil but from where?

just finihsed installing a b18c5 bottom end with 32k miles on it... and used my gsr head that had 133k miles.. all i replaced on the head was CTR cams, rocket motorsport valve springs and retainers and new oem valve stem seals along with a new oem 3 layer headgasket.

ran compression test and the results are 260 - 250 - 250 - 250 and there is no oil on the tips of the spark plugs... yet in a week i lost 2 quarts of oil.. there are no oil leaks that i can find i checked every where under the motor behind and in front and no oil leaks.

when i rev the motor i get white smoke wiht a hint of blue and smells like burning oil i not suere where else to check to see where the oil is birning from..

any help?

Chaeck if you loose coolant since you say it smoke white... Might be the head gasket... Sometime both oil and coolant get mixte If you burn coolant...It dosen't sounds good... Better change your head gasket asap!

I agree, it could be your valve stem seals. Also, it could be your oil rings. Even though your compression looks good, oil rings dont hold compression; they just control the oil.

If you installed the rings yourself, did you set the gaps at least 90 degrees apart? Also the gaps cannot line up with the wrist pin either.

um i never assembled the bottom end its a stock ITR bottom end just had the head removed....

my gsr had is not abused... and i already REPLACED the valve stem seals with new ones....
also i know oil rings dont hold compression but if the oil rings wee bad or going wouldnt there be oil on the spark plug tips?? all my pug tips have a nice color to them with no oil what so ever..
