Default Just finished b16a => crx , 2 problems

1st problem. ***** every gear except 4th. It slips

2nd problem. When accelrating I have to accelerate slow other wise. It feels like the clutch is disengaging. So I have to put it back to clutch pedeal down and accelerate with the clutch down.

THanks in advance for any help

the clutch cable must not be properly seated, or adjusted.

could also be a shift linkage issue.

what mounts and linkage are you using?

was the car ever in any accidents?

HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSE TO PROPERLY SEAT IT OR ADJUST IT THANKS?

I tried messing with the clutch cable. Tight and loose. I put as tight as i could seems like it engages better in gear. 4th gear still doesnt engage.

mounts and linkage are both from AVID.

No accidents, clean title. bought from first owner.

THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY.

i know you don't wanna hear this, but if the cable is right, how do you know the throw out bearing/pressure plate/clutch disk is good/not contaminated/in right?
