NGK spark plug wires?
I was told that NGK also makes some good quality spark plug wires. Is there any benefit to running the NGK wire set compared to stock wires? (all ignition system is stock and I'm not FI). Thanks for any info/opinions.
Funny thing about plug wires. I had some magnecors, and they fell apart @ the dist. cap side as I pulled them for the last time. The stock ones fit really well, and sgt dynoed the stockers to be the best, with NGK behind, and a few others behind NGK. We're only talking 1-3 hp difference, but I didn't like the way the magnecors fit anyways.

How do I know when I need to change the spark plug wires??
If it's for spark plug.....I usually look at their conditions before changing them.....but what about the plug wires ??

Integras come stock with Sumitomo wires, not NGK. The plugs are NGK. You can check the wires with an Ohm meter. Positive in one end, neg on the other...I forget the proper specs off the top of my head.
NGK wires are great. Theres no need to replace your stock wires unless theyre worn out or maybe if youve made some other big ignition upgrades.
I upgraded to NGK wires when mine were toast, I noticed the car seemed to run a bit smoother.

This may seem obvious, but the first step is to visually inspect the terminals, make sure they're not bent or damaged. Check for corrosion, clean it if you find any. And then, like someone here already mentioned, you measure the resistance of the wire from one end to the other, should be about 25k ohms. If you're higher than that, time to replace the wire. And don't bend your wires at sharp angles, I've heard this can break the wire inside. That's about it though! Hope this helped.
