Correct me if I'm wrong, but a D16A6 is USDM, isn't it?

Yes. PM6 is ideal. PM7 (from a ZC will work) and so will a PG7 (i think).

if the engine says d16a6, they lied. that's not a bad engine, but its not jdm. its the same as the jdm sohc zc, except for the cam.

go get a haynes or other manual and look at the procedure for removing an engine. That is exactly what you have to do. The d16a6 bolts directly in. The only change is you have to do the dpfi to mpfi conversion (someone already posted the link).

it can if he wants to stay dpfi. he would get better power with the mpfi. search for the mpfi and you will find dozens of links and i thought that zc was jdm and that a9 was edm and the a1 was usdm.

It would be all the stock DX parts and yes they would all bolt on but then there would be no point to the swap since the DX motor and Si motor W/O the MPFI would put out about the same amount of power.

axels are different on si and dx, trust me, they look identical but they are not the same. si axels have more splines on the end of the axel.

Thats not true I am using DX axles in my Si swap are you sure you didnt get like an 88 Si tranny? Those are a bit different.

Oh and to enlighten everyone even more AUTO DX axles are also the same as Si axles.

I dont know what to tell you then?

Right now I have a set of Auto DX axles, Manual DX axles, and Si axles and they all fit into my 91 Si's tranny and hub I ran with them all just to see if they would all work since they fit into the hubs I never had one problem.....I even hooked up someone here with a set of DX axles for his Si harch and they fit?
